Swim (Look at Life)
Album: "Winter Air"

Come in. Sit down. Take a seat next to me.
Roll up. Get down. Look at life here with me.
Confusion. Sadness. Do you see what I see?
Clarity. Gladness. I second the emotion for three.
We’re not looking clearly at day.
Don’t close your eyes. Night won’t go away.
We’ve got to swim without our arms.
We’ve got to swim away from harm.
Laugh out. Be loud. I know why speech is so free.
Spoke out. Too proud. Don’t spill your doctrine on me.
Look right. Seem blessed. Will you know if I leave?
That’s nice—a good guess. Gone with the wind through the trees.
We’re not looking clearly at day.
Don’t close your eyes. Night won’t go away.
We’ve got to swim without our arms.
We’ve got to swim away from harm.
We don’t know what it’s like
To walk in each other’s shoes.
Put mufflers on your spite
And start learnin’ the blues. Ah!
