About the Album
A fresh sound, that ties todays music into the past. This disc is a rare offer of Chase's second album. If you've heard the tunes on SoundClick for free, now you can pay...and get a pretty sexy disc. This album contains many of Chase's fewer known songs. "hello, my friend" starts the album on a Beatlesque feeling. The album moves on to "the troops are marching off," a poignant folky song about war and life. Next, Chase shows a more raw rock and roll style with "dark evaluations." Next, Chase pays tribute to a rock hero, while noting the problem with today's music. Then, Chase plays a new version (sounding more AC/DC than usual) of a classic song of his--"take your fall." Next, a more poppy, sappy side is shown in "you're beautiful," whose happy lyrics and old-time rock 'n' roll feeling remind the listener of Billy Joel. This is followed by a goofy instrumental called "la vie, c'est belle." Next, perhaps the deepest song on the album, is "your soul." This is followed by what has become a Chase Jedick tradition, in an odd, crazy, song. The ukulele is featured on the next two songs that close out the album. Be sure to listen to the MP3 previews. This album is well-worth its cost.
