Insomnia - After a Fight & When Everything's Right

I know that it’s time to call it a night.

1.) But it’s too hard to sleep after a fight.

2.) But I just can’t sleep when everything’s right.

I know that it’s time to go to bed.

1.) But these thoughts are filling up my head.

2.) But thoughts of our love fill up my head.

I know it’s time that I count some sheep.

1.) I keep wond’rin if you’ll take the leap.

2.) I keep thinking of a love so deep.

I know it’s time to just lie down.

1.) I just don’t want to see you frown.

2.) I never want to see you frown.

I know it’s time to rest my head.

1.) But I can’t forget what you said.

2.) But I can’t forget what you said.

I know it’s time that I hit the hay.

1.) Something’s hidden in what you say.

2.) I cherish every word that you say.

I know that it’s time to hit the sack.

1.) Do you even want me to come back?

2.) I count the seconds ‘til I get back.

Again, I know it’s time to catch some Zs.

1.) But I keep thinking you’d rather be free.

2.) Life’s so wonderful for you and me.
