Step onto the pavement.
Stare into the light.
Traffic quickly flowin’—
More slowly than your life.
You try to gain control,
But you’re spinning ‘round & ‘round.
How can you find love,
When you’re screwed into the ground?
Well, it takes some time;
But I don’t mind
‘Cause time is existence,
And existence is my life, yeah.
You know the tough get stayin’,
When the staying gets tough.
You don’t jump off the boat,
When the water gets rough.
Flowin’ river to a sea of love.
So perfect Seer, do you see love?
So there’s life behind you? Why go back?
Look into the future to guide you on this path, yeah.
